Patrick Aloysius Ewing (born August 5, 1962) played basketball for the New York Knicks as their starting center and played briefly with the Seattle SuperSonics and Orlando Magic. In a 1996 poll celebrating the 50th anniversary of the NBA, Ewing was selected as one of the 50 Greatest Basketball Players of All Time.
